The Westin Gurgaon, readying for September launch

The Westin Gurgaon New delhi, a Starwood property, is fast approaching completion. Currently, in final stage of development, the hotel will open doors in September 2010. The nine – story hotel spread over 41/2  acres, offers 312 guestrooms and suites across nine diffrent categories including 20 executive suites, 5 royal suites and one presidental suite.

This property will be an ideal venue for meetings and conferences, weddings, social galas and other business functions. It offers nearly 1400 square meters of indoor meeting space and over 800 square metres of garden space. The property has 10 meeting rooms.

The Westin Gurgaon, new delhi is also touted to be first full glass facade building in India, built of 68,000 specially designed custom-made glasses.

The Leela Palace Kempinski New Delhi announced its opening in September 2010

The Leela Palace Kempinski New Delhi has announced its opening in Autumn 2010. This über-luxury five-star hotel is situated in the heart of the city’s Central Business District, the exclusive Diplomatic enclave. Inspired by the style of Edwin Lutyens, the man who designed New Delhi almost 100 years ago, and designed by acclaimed architect John Gerondelis, The Leela Palace New Delhi will combine neo-classical architecture with elements from historical north Indian palaces.

Occupying a three-acres of land the new hotel will have 260 rooms. The room catalogue includes: deluxe guestrooms, which will measure over 500 square feet; Royal Suites, which will be up to 1,000 square feet and will have private pools; and an impressive 4,000 square feet Presidential Suite with adjoining deluxe bedroom. The hotel will boast three specialty restaurants, serving Indian, Italian and Japanese specialities, and there is also an all-day-dining room with ‘live’ kitchen. In addition, guests can enjoy two bars, a 6,500 square feet Spa by ESPA with nine treatment rooms, a beauty salon, fitness centre and a heated swimming pool on the rooftop terrace. The hotel will accommodate meetings and incentives through a number of meeting rooms including a 5,500 square feet Grand Ballroom.

Taj Falaknuma Palace opens in Hyderabad
